Kidney Cancer

What Is Kidney Cancer?

Diagnoses of kidney cancer have been on the rise, especially with improvements in computed tomography (CT) scans and other imaging. Kidney cancer treatment has a high rate of success, especially if it is caught at an early stage. Symptoms of kidney cancer include blood in the urine, weight loss, back pain, fever, and ongoing fatigue. Treatment options include robotic partial nephrectomy, complete nephrectomy, or in some circumstances, active surveillance.

If you are coming to see us for a kidney mass and have had imaging done, like a MRI or CT scan, please be sure to bring that imaging on a disc for the doctor to personally review.
