Founded in 2005
by Drs. Ronney Abaza, Mirza Baig, and Saleem Zafar, RoMIUS Urology was built on deep Northwest Ohio roots and a shared vision of elevating urologic care across the region. As pioneers of robotic surgery in Northwest Ohio, the founders were among the earliest adopters of robotic techniques in the Midwest and went on to create some of the most advanced and robust robotic surgery programs in the region. Their leadership has extended far beyond the operating room—they have served as distinguished surgical educators for the University of Toledo urology residency program, training generations of future urologists.
RoMIUS Urology is committed to meeting the urologic needs of communities throughout Northwest and West Central Ohio by recruiting highly skilled providers, investing in cutting-edge technology, and maintaining a culture of compassionate, patient-centered care. Our board-certified physicians and clinical staff span nearly every discipline within urology, allowing us to offer comprehensive services ranging from men’s and women’s health to advanced cancer care, stone disease management, minimally invasive surgery, and state-of-the-art robotic procedures.
